Hi there! I would love some help ID'ing hotel choices for an upcoming trip. My original plan was to bid on Priceline, but I don't want to risk getting a hotel with no casino.

June 2 - 8, Max budget $125/night (flexible)

Prefer Center Strip Zone on Hotwire, 4*+ Rating

Would like: Casino (must have), Activities/Shopping for a non-gambler, Spa (nice to have)

I used the site links and have reviewed the options on Bidding Helper. My #1 Choice would be to stay at Paris Las Vegas, but I know that might be out of my budget. I will list a few above my budget in case that helps me identify which is Paris, in which case I might stretch the budget some. I suspect the Linq is one of the choices in my budget but I need to research it further to see if that would work for us. Here are the choices I'm getting for my dates:

4* Center Strip, $72/night, FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Resort, Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Casino, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access

(When I click through, says the last person got the LINQ, 70% Recommended, ~$28/night resort fee)

4* Center Strip, $77/night, FULL AMENITIES: Pet friendly, Casino, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower

(When I click through to this deal, it says the deal is no longer available but then shows a 4* center strip for $77/night that I can book (amenities Pet friendly, Casino, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, listed as 80% recommended and ~$27.99/night resort fee)

4* Center Strip, $118/night, FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Pet friendly, Casino, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower

(This one is new and didn't show up on my first search, 70% recommended and ~$32.48/night resort fees, says last person got Planet Hollywood)

4* Center Strip, $123/night, FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Pet friendly, Casino, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower

(80% recommended, ~$32.48/night resort fee, says last person got Paris Las Vegas!!)

4.5* Center Strip, $151/night, FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Resort, Casino, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower

(When I click through this one, it says the deal is no longer available, there is a 4.5* listed for $151/night, says last person got the Mirage, 85% recommended, ~$33.60/night resort fees or Cromwell 90% recommended, $32.48/night resort fees)

4.5* Center Strip, $159/night, FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Pet friendly, Casino, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Tennis nearby, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower

(75% recommended, ~$32.48/night resort fees, says the last person got Caesars Palace)

Let me know if any other information is needed. Thank you for your help!

Welcome to BetterBidding!

The $123/nite hotel above is a match for the Paris so that would be my best guess for this one.

Thanks for the quick reply. Any hints on how to tell the difference between Planet Hollywood and Paris when looking on the Hotwire Hot Rates? The reason I'm asking is that when I go directly to the Hotwire site and search, when I click on the $118 hotel (which says 70% recommended) and the $123 hotel (which says 80% recommended), they both say the last person got Planet Hollywood. I know it's not an exact science but I'm just curious!

Also, any guesses for the $77/night property?

The "Last person got ___" information is relative the last person who bought a hotel in the zone at this star rating, not necessarily the underlying hotel currently being offered (which is why above two 4 star hotels with different amenity sets list the same hotel as the 'last person got...')

You can compare the amenities for any of the HOTWIRE offers above to what has previously been reported and listed in the Hotwire Hotel List.

Using the hotel lists the amenity set for the $123/nite matches previous reports for The Paris... the $77 property (also in the hotel list) matches reports for the Westin Casuarina.

Keep in mind that HOTWIRE (and PRICELINE EXPRESS) offers can disappear at any time.... as the hotel you want is currently being offered, and it's within your budget, you may want to try to make a decision and commit sooner rather than later.

Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.
