... because unless your kids are very young and just happy to be at a hotel, they will not be impressed by staying in Henderson.  For an extra $20 (all-in) you could actually stay at a centrally located hotel directly on the strip, and if your kids are young, it would also make it easier to return to the hotel room during the day to clean-up, take a nap, etc.

Here is the result of my search following your advice. For info the boys are 10 and 13. I was dremaing of taking them to the roller coaster at New York-New York Hotel and Casino.

With Planet Hollywood you would be much more centrally located.

if your kids are into thrill seeking rides the Stratosphere has some great ones... although i wouldn't stay in that part of the strip.

This would be a possible match for the Jet Luxury at the Vdara, which is a collection of privately owned rooms at the property that are rented out.

 

What would be your desired max budget per night for this stay?

I did not expect something so cheap in Vegas.M y budget would be around 90-120 USD for a nice setting so that we can walk to the attractions ? (if it is possible in LV ?)

If you're looking to stay near the lower end of your budget (or lower) either of the two above would be fine, with the following comments:

Jet Luxury at the Vdara - great location in a great hotel, but some stay the rooms owned and managed by Jet Luxury are not as well maintained as the 'regular' hotel rooms... but you do get the advantage of a Kitchenette which may be something of interest to you with young kids (keeping drinks and/or snacks in a refrigerator is always helpful and less expensive then buying on the strip when needed)

 

Plant Hollywood - across the street from Vdara so again, great location, but doesn't get the same 5* rating as the one above

 

If you're really willing to pay at the top of your budget i'm seeing what looks to be the Palazzo for $120/nite... one of the beset hotels in Vegas (imo) and large oversized room which is good considering your quad occupancy.  It's on the north end of the 'main' part of the strip, so it's not as centrally located as PH or Vdara, but easily do-able and a 'true' 5* hotel.

 

So that we have a better sense of what you are looking for... why not Planet Hollwyood and/or Jet Luxury at the Vdara?

it is funny as I was looking at the same time on the jet at  Vdara against the Marriott Grand Chateau  It is true,  a kitchenette can be a good idea when on a long trip.

so why not I will check also PH

I am hesitating It will be our only night in Vegas so maybe it is worth splurging so as to have a good memory as we will not go to the Casinos  but rather sightsee the area

If you're not yet sure what type of hotel you want, then it doesn't really matter what hotels are currently offered, as they may not be the same ones that are available once you're ready to move forward.
