Lallows Posted February 27, 2016 Author Report Posted February 27, 2016 Hello I am looking to book a hotel for 29th April to 3rd May and on PRICELINE EXPRESS, the follow hotel came up. Anyone know what it might be? 4 Star Hotel in Empire State Building Area for £114/night Star Rating: What hotel is this? Guaranteed Amenities: Pets Allowed Restaurant Free Internet Fitness Center
thereuare Posted February 27, 2016 Report Posted February 27, 2016 Welcome to BetterBidding! Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread. Once you win a hotel, use the 'ADD REPLY and REPORT WIN' button on the lower right corner of the page to edit the topic title to reflect your win and to provide the details of your purchase. This helps keep the board better organized by reducing the number of unresolved threads that don't have any follow-up or conclusion. Also, please post to the board in US Dollars as it keeps rates consistent and not subject to interpretation based upon future currency fluctuations. For the HOTWIRE offer i believe there are more amenities then what you've indicated above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you search using the EASY VIEW TAB of our BiddingHelper.com tool. If you repeat your search using the BiddingHelper.com EASY VIEW TAB do you see this for the 3* hotel in Downtown Brooklyn ($157/ntie USD): Complimentary Breakfast Free Internet Pet Friendly Business Hi-Speed Internet Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower --> if this is what you're seeing, best guess would be the Holiday Inn Express Brooklyn For the 4* ESB property ($159/nite USD) my guess would be the Martha Washington. Unless you have reason to stay in Brooklyn or will be spending most of your time there, the Empire State Building zone would be a much better location, and worth $10(USD) more per nite, imo. Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Lallows Posted February 28, 2016 Author Report Posted February 28, 2016 Thank you so much for your help. I hope you don't mind me asking for one more and that's it! As I'm going with a friend we're ideally looking for a Twin Room and I've found these... I've had a look on the forum, but couldn't find them. Thank you :) 3* Greenpoint - Williamsburg area hotel 70% recommended £97 per night Complimentary Free Internet Free breakfast Amenities Business center Fitness center Self-service laundry Smoke-free rooms Accessibility Accessible for visually impaired Accessible for hearing impaired I was hoping it was The Box House hotel or Henry Norman, but it doesn't say boutique in it's listing and another listing on Hotwire says Greenpoint boutique but that's out of our budget :( If anyone could recommend somewhere else if not. We're flexible within reason on location, we'd just like twin beds and free WIFI and ideally don't want to spend anymore that £550 (£600 at a push) for the 4 nights in total with taxes. I know that's an ask! Which is why we've been limited so far.
