Priceline Hotel: Hotels in Venice

Need help to identity three and  half stars hotel in m Saint Mark Square - free internet

Try many times try to bid a 4 star hotel in Venice close to Train station for CAD200.00 unsuccessful, I read some post last year, there is a post showing a bid of 140 USD for Hotel Papadopoli V enezia - MGallery.  Can anyone give me any clues how to do it?  Should I bid with USD in order to get a deal?

What dates are you using?   Rates are very date specific.

 

Have you tried using the QuickQuote feature up in the left hand corner?  It will show you the rates via Hotwire and Priceline Express for your dates.  You'll be able to see if what you are bidding is in the ballpark.

 

Also, in "Research Tools" is "Maps and Hotels".  If you haven't tried it yet, I hope you do.  You can search using something like the train station as a central point and see what hotels are going for on your dates.  You can select on star levels, rate range and lots of other things.   It is definitely worth the climb up the earning curve.
