I see from the boards this could be the Avalon or Hard Rock - that's a pretty huge difference in hotel types. Hoping to get the Avalon. Any ideas?

The amenities shown on the bidding side of PRICELINE are amenities that are offered at every hotel in the zone at that star level... not the amenities of a specific hotel that you would be bidding on (in fact, at this point in the bidding process, PRICELINE hasn't even checked inventory for your dates).

 

If you bid on PRICELINE you need to be willing to accept any hotel in the zone at the star rating you choose... there is no way to target (or avoid) a specific property.  If you'd like to have a guess as to the hotel you may receive PRICELINE EXPRESS or HOTWIRE would be your better option.

 

I'm seeing this 4 star Palm Springs hotel (confirm your dates on the landing page) with Indoor or Outdoor Pool, Pets Allowed, Airport Shuttle, Free Internet, Business Center, Fitness Center for $112/nite... the Hyatt Palm Springs would be my best guess for this one, should this be of any interest.
