thereuare Posted January 28, 2006 Report Posted January 28, 2006 Please follow-up your previous threads with whatever you ended up doing for each stay:PRICELINE NEW YORK CITYPRICELINE New JerseyThis board only works if users follow-up their posts with their results. Not doing so is also not fair to those who took the time to reply and offer assistance. :) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
sageblue Posted January 29, 2006 Author Report Posted January 29, 2006 Followups have been added; unfortunately they won't be of much help since we decided not to use Hotwire on both occasions.
thereuare Posted January 29, 2006 Report Posted January 29, 2006 Even knowing that your plans were cancelled or that you were ultimately unsuccessful is better than leaving users guessing as to what happened. In regards to the above property, it has not yet been identified. I think the Extended Stay is a good guess, and would also throw the nearby StudioPlus property into the mix, although the Studio Plus although the ESA properties are much more common thru the opaque services so i'd lean more in that direction.Let us know what you decide to do or if we can be of further help. sageblue Posted January 31, 2006 Author Report Posted January 31, 2006 My friend ended up going up a level:Rating: 2 1/2 starsAmenities: Shuttle, restaurant, fitness, laundryProperty: Four Points by SheratonPrice: $65 ($79.68 incl. tax)He wanted to make sure he had a shuttle to the airport, and wasn't sure if the ESA had one. Not a bad deal though, considering the Four Points is going for about $50 more than what it was on Hotwire.Unfortunately, and I was unable to persuade him otherwise, he had a $10 off Entertainment Book Hotwire coupon and used the link for that rather than the link at Savingsbarn. Since that coupon is toast now though, future purchases will be done through that link. Thanks.
