ibs102 Posted February 9, 2016 Report Posted February 9, 2016 Following the helpful and clear bidding strategies posted on the forum I had to go through all rebidding zones on two days to get a bid accepted at 140 Euros plus fees and taxes for 3 nights, total 499,77 Euros, averaging 167 Euro per night. Not too disappointed but also not ecstatic... I had obviously hoped for the 'other' 5* hotel in that area, had tried the Port and the Old Town too, but 167 Euros is acceptable in May, provided it turns out to be a normal sized room (I have had one experience in a 5* where 'broom cupboard' would have described the accommodation better). I phoned the hotel and requested twin beds immediately after acceptance and was dealt with in an extremely friendly manner, being assured that would be no problem, so plus points there. As always many thanks to everyone who posted enquiries, tips and identifications, without which I would not have been able to find what I wanted.

thereuare Posted March 15, 2017 Report Posted March 15, 2017 sls2001, Can you please start by concluding your previous Hotwire Aruba hotel thread with whatever you ended up doing for that trip... maybe your post could help another user, just as you are hoping to gain insight from the previous poster above. Please remember to follow-up your threads with your wins/decisions as you make them (even if you don't ultimately use PRICELINE / HOTWIRE, cancel the trip, book direct, etc) as this help keep the board better organized and more useful for everyone... as well as being a courtesy to anyone who took the time to help with your travel plans. Hi there, While the situation is excellent and we had no issues with service or the room itself, I would not recommend, as the bathroom including the toilet (covered by half a semiopaque glass door!) are open plan within the bedroom.
