Priceline Hotel: 3.5* Orlando (Disney Downtown - Lake Buena Vista) Delta Orlando Lake Buena Vista

I needed 4 rooms before a cruise and Port Canaveral was too high.    I Started at 50 with the plan of having 4 rebids and received a counter offer of 66. I then re logged in and split the difference and offered $58 and was accepted. This looks like a brand new hotel by Marriott with shuttle service to Disney parks. PRICELINE says free parking but the hotel says a charge of 15. If I can manage a shuttle to Downtown Disney for Friday night that would be awesome. This hotel has free continental breakfast as well !

I always have a major problem trying to bid in orlando when looking at your hotel list for example this delta hotel is listed under disney downtown lake Buena Vista yet that doesn't exist on priceline it's only disney area lake Buena Vista east  or disney springs area lake Buena Vista so which one of these would delta hotel be under? Why can't you list the hotels like priceline does? Clearly Disney downtown lake Buena Vista is different than disney area and disney springs so why don't you use the same listing areas for the hotels priceline does?

atom29,

We weren't even aware you were using the hotel lists since you haven't posted any wins to the board in the 3+ years that you've been a member here... if you're been using the board and the hotel lists it would be appreciated if you also started to share your wins (and failures) so that others can benefit from the information, just as you are looking to benefit from those who have posted before you.

As you may or may not be aware, the board recently went thru a major software upgrade as well as a server upgrade (which included an upgrade of the operating system which means that a lot of code backend code needed to be re-written).  In fact, we are still taking care of a few odds and ends that come up daily... so we are a little behind in keeping up with the zone name and boundary changes that have taken place while we've been busy with this project, but all of our hotel lists will ultimately be updated to the same zone names as are used by PRICELINE and HOTWIRE. (they're not just name changes, there are usually boundary changes as well, so the entire list for the region needs to be mapped and re-classified into the proper zone... it's not as simple, and much more time consuming, than just changing chaning 'Dowtnown Disney' to 'Disney Springs')

Thank you for your reply, okay so I called the Delta hotel & they told me they were no. 6 on priceline they are the Disney Springs & I tried 9 times to get the same bid that

connor got but failed. I started out with 55- bid up to 73 dollars and each time my bid was too low was offered a hotel for 18 more dollars but since I live in Florida and go to

Orlando once a month I am not paying tourist fare for a room. Connor also said it came with continental breakfast the hotel said they do not offer free breakfast that it's an

up charge of 7 dollars per person & they charge 15 dollars a night for parking. it's a new hotel only 1 month old. I understand it takes a lot of time & effort to change the listings but

people who win a bid should clarify I won my bid on the Disney Springs not disney downtown which would help rectify the problem for future bidders.

Start to share your own wins/rejected bids with the board... then you can start to tell others what they should/shouldn't include in their posts.
