Hotwire Hotel: Help ID 3.5* Venice/Marina Del Rey/Play del Rey boutique hotel?

I rarely use HOTWIRE etc for a trip anymore but I received an email that my choice has dropped in price to $99/night in Venice/Marina del Rey/Play del Rey boutique hotel?

 

The only hotel thats listed is Hotel Erwin?  Could this be the hotel?  What are the chances?  Because I would take the deal if it is.  Dates of travel April-19-26

Mmm I looked closer.  I see two different 3.5 star boutique hotel categories.  One is quite a bit more.  The cheaper one is a handicapped room?

You don't say if the one with amenities that you provided above is the cheaper or more expensive one, but i think it see the amenity set above for a hotel in this zone at $107/nite, and if the same one you're seeing, this property has a very low 45% recommendation by previous HOTWIRE guests, is this something that you think would be acceptable for your needs this trip?

 

What are your needs for this stay and what is your maximum budget per nite? (before fees/taxes)

Thanks.  Its the cheaper one.  What exactly is the recommendation percentage? or how is it calculated?  If it was the Hotel Erwin then I would take it.

 

Price varies depending on location and hotel.  I am looking for a deal.

 

But if I had to put a price for budget I would say around 100-110

The HOTWIRE 'recommendation' is a very low bar... based upon the criteria they ask previous guests to rate (location, hotel condition, quality of service, room comfort, etc), if the average is 3.0 or higher then it is considered to be 'recommended' by that previous guest.

 

While i'm not sure what property it is that is offered above... i'm fairly confident that it's not the Hotel Erwin.

 

Have you checked PRICELINE EXPRESS for any deals?

I thought Hotel Erwin would be too good to be true at the hotwire price.  It seems to be priced quite high with good reviews.
