I saw a curiously good rate of $246 plus resort fees/taxes for a 4* hotel in Key West--New Town. I'm hoping it's one of the chain resorts rather than the independents. Clues?

Unfortunately i don't have any insight into this Key West property, which as you seem to be aware, is usually quite price more often than not.

 

I am seeing this 3.5* Key West hotel (confirm your dates on the landing page) for $236/nite with Indoor or Outdoor Pool, Pets Allowed, Free Internet, Business Center... my guess for this one would be The Gates Hotel Key West, should this one be of any interest.

First tried for something in this price range at four-star level in Old Town and New Town. Dropped down to 3.5 star in Old Town and was rejected. Shifted to New Town and got the bid. And used the PRICELINE link.
