Is this a possibility?  What is the price rage for 3*s

 

This is for a pre-cruise stay but I will be renting a car so distance is not too much of an isue

You don't mention which zone(s) within the area you're looking to bid on, but if you're considering both the Ft. Lauderdale Beach zone and the Downtown zone, i think a 4* will run you just about $200/nite.. a 3* closer to the $150 area.

I am looking at zone 2, would like 4 or 5 stars and a total cost no more than $200 per night with taxes and fees - am I delusional?

To avoid any confusion please use zone names instead of numbers as the numbers will change as zones are re-named, added, or removed in the future.

 

As well, please post your budget in terms of room rate per nite (before taxes/fees) as it keeps all rates posted to the board consistent.

 

You can certainly try, but at the moment if you're only willing to bid in the Downtown-Cruise Port-Convention Center zone, your budget is more inline with a 3.5* property.
