bigbillyc Posted January 27, 2006 Report Posted January 27, 2006 Daughter booked for 2 nights. We tried several bids with using free zones, she got hers at $55 and I tried $53 and it was accepted. Fun to bid on separate computers on wireless connections. Great Hotel, Great Location, Great Price.Room was very nice with a wonderful view and service for us was fine. Son-in-law checked in first and they had requested a non smoking with King and were told none available. They did end up putting them in a smoking room with King bed. Ended up not being a major problem as they had room air cleaners in each room, although he was miffed that they did not get the room requested. We checked in right after him but with a different person and were given a non smoking king room without any problems. We put our request in via their email link for Priceline. Our daughter had called the hotel with the request. Decor was modern with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. View was spectacular at night. It was very nippy, but we enjoyed our short stay in Chicago and hope to return for a week if we can get these kind of rates when the weather is a little warmer! Thanks for all the great info on this site that helps with bidding! :)

portlago Posted February 3, 2006 Report Posted February 3, 2006 I'm staying at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago in a few weeks and have a request also. Where is this email link for Priceline that you mentioned? I already called the hotel, but I'd like try email also to try to get what I want. Thanks in advance!
