I'm looking for information on a HOTWIRE Hotel. My dates are March 13-19 in Orlando, FL (Lake Buena Vista-Bonnet Creek). I was offered $34, 3 star hotel, 70% recommend, and 3 out 5 on trip advisor. The amenities are free internet, free parking, free breakfast, business and fitness center, gold nearby, self-service laundry, and smoke free. Do you happen to know what hotel this is? The possible listed are Four Points, Holiday Inn, Wingate, and Embassy.

This would be a possible match for the Baymont Inn and Suites Celebration.

I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you search using the EASY VIEW TAB of our BiddingHelper.com tool

If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities (including any accessible amenities) then what you have listed above? Using this method, below is the full list of amenities i'm seeing for the 3 star hotel in this zone when searching for your dates:

Complimentary Breakfast
Smoke Free
Fitness
Pool
Business
Laundry
Blind Accessible
Deaf Accessible
Travel Accessible
Room Accessible
Wheelchair Accessible
Bathroom Accessible
Handicapped Parking
Roll-in Shower

... if this is what you see, i'm not certain, but a new amenity set for the Comfort Inn Maingate

I'm also seeing this 3* Condo in this zone for $46/nite with:

Free Parking
Free Internet
Resort
Pet Friendly
Smoke Free
Fitness
Pool
Restaurant
Business
Laundry
Hi-Speed Internet
Blind Accessible
Deaf Accessible
Travel Accessible
Room Accessible
Bathroom Accessible
Handicapped Parking

... my guess for this one would be the Maingate Lakeside Resort, should this be of any interest.

Lastly, i will add that there is currently a sale for your dates at the Red Lion Orlando Kissimmee Maingate for just $45/nite, which looks to be just as cheap as an 'opaque' booking but you will know exactly what you're getting.

I am new to here. Would PRICELINE bidding or HOTWIRE be better for a Disney vacation? I am looking for a hotel that has free breakfast, semi nice, shuttle services, etc. I am not picky as to what area that I would be located in; however, I have a budget of under $60 a night. My stay is March 13-19.

Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread. Once you win a hotel, use the "ADD REPLY and REPORT WIN" button on the lower right corner of the page to edit the topic title to reflect your win and to provide the details of your purchase. This helps keep the board better organized by reducing the number of unresolved threads that don't have any follow-up or conclusion.

When bidding on PRICELINE you have to be willing to accept a hotel anywhere in the zone at the star rating (or higher) that you bid... there won't be any way to target a hotel that offers specific amenities (such as the free breakfast, shuttle service, etc. that you mention) so it doesn't sound like this would be the best option for you for this trip.

Both HOTWIRE and PRICELINE EXPRESS show amenities for the specific hotel being offered, so you can choose a hotel that shows the amenities that you require, and then try to take an educated guess to see if meets your other requirements.  For instance, 'Free Breakfast' is an amenity that is shown by both PRICELINE and HOTWIRE when describing their hotels, so you can guarantee this amenity by choosing a hotel that shows this amenity... but nether shows an amenity for 'shuttle to the park', so you won't be able to guarantee this amenity, although based upon the amenity description we can take an educated guess and then you can determine what the shuttle options are from that property.

However, my advice would be to rent a car... rentals are usually fairly inexpensive in Orlando, and parking at the parks does cost money, but the added expensive is a trade-off for the convenience of traveling on your own schedule, not worrying if you'll make it to the shuttle stop in time (or get there with plenty of time to spare and spend your time waiting), stopping at other hotels traveling to/from the parks (assuming your hotel doesn't have a dedicated shuttle), and some of the shuttles are also not free (so there is an expense there as well)
