trumanthepug Posted January 14, 2016 Report Posted January 14, 2016 Currently on PRICELINE EXPRESS with the following amentities Strip South 2/7-2/10 for $101/nite Business Center Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino My travel dates are actually flexible as well so anything from 02/06/15 through 02/11/15 that is 4.5 to 5 star, max 120 a night would be awesome if the property is worth the price. Preferably not Trump although from what I can tell it happens to be a really good deal right now.
thereuare Posted January 14, 2016 Report Posted January 14, 2016 Welcome to BetterBidding! The Cosmopolitan would be my best guess for the PRICELINE EXPRESS offer above. Does this one work for your plans? trumanthepug Posted January 14, 2016 Author Report Posted January 14, 2016 It does indeed. Do you happen to know what typically is the room assigned when we book through Priceline? I know it says double occupancy so does that mean a king bed or 2 queens, etc? Or is that something that can be specified to the hotel? Also it is worth trying to get a hotel using the Name Your Own Price with $101 as a value to aim for as a 5 star?
thereuare Posted January 14, 2016 Report Posted January 14, 2016 Whether to bid for a lower price or take the PRICELINE EXPRESS offer depends upon your needs for this stay and how much you would want the (guessed) Cosmopolitan vs. any of the other possible outcomes if bidding in this zone. With PRICELINE EXPRESS you have the ability to take a guess as to the hotel being offered as we have done above, but with PRICELINE bidding you need to be willing to accept any hotel in the zone at the star rating (or higher) that you bid. All PRICELINE wins, unless otherwise indicated, are for 'standard rooms'... you can try calling the hotel after your purchase and let them know of any requests you have in regards to the room type (or any other requests), but the hotel may not be able, or willing, to accommodate your request (or there could be an additional fee involved). Some PRICELINE EXPRESS offers so show a 'Room Choice' option which allows you to choose the room type from among those offered (often at different prices), but the one above does not show this option. trumanthepug Posted January 16, 2016 Author Report Posted January 16, 2016 I actually have a different one that could use some ID 2/6/16 to 2/10/16 Strip North Area Casino Hotel $126 a nite Free Parking Business Center Restaurant Indoor Or Outdoor Pool Casino Fitness Center The price is 42% off which is a ridiculous deal for a 5* casino hotel... Also on the bottom This hotel charges an additional $35.84 per room per night. This fee will be charged to you directly by the hotel. Mandatory fees are not optional and typically cover items such as resort fees
AaronJB Posted January 16, 2016 Report Posted January 16, 2016 I'll guess the Venetian in this case. Please keep us updated on what you decide and let us know if you have additional questions.
