Priceline Hotel: Manhattan for$ 60, is it possible?

Hello! I'm new! Please help with the strategy! Would like to live in Manhattan, where it would be close to interesting places, from the subway and spend 60-70$ per night, is it possible? Hotels on which category can be factored into this price? where to start? Thank you

I'll be in new York on February 25-27, 2 nights. The hotels don't want below 3 stars. Thank you.

Ordinarily i would stay you don't have much of a chance at $70 or under, but fortunately for you rates are unusually low for these dates.

 

So to move forward, which zone(s) are acceptable?  You should try to include as many zones as are acceptable to give more hotels the opportunity to accept your bid price.  I would suggest considering:

Chelsea

Empire State Building

MSG

MTW

Times Square

 

CPS is well located but contains the Hudson Hotel which has notoriously small rooms, even by NYC standards.

Most hotels i the MTE zone are well located, but a few can be up to a 15 minute walk to the subway.

--> so you may or may not want to include these two zones in your bidding depending upon whether these conditions/results would be acceptable to you or not.

 

Lastly, are you willing to pay more for a higher rated hotel OR is the goal the least expensive 3* or better?
