The 3 star hotel with same amenites still shows up on my replicated search

 

for 115$/night on 3-4 May 2016.

I'm not certain, but the Hotel The Exchange looks like a good fit and would be my best guess for this one.

Use the board HOT.WIRE link and got Hotel The Exchange as your guess.

 

The hotel has different types of rooms, ranging from 1 to 5 stars, have no idea which type they offer for Hotwire.

 

If it is 1 star, that would be disappointing. However, given its 4/5 tripadvisor score, I hope it will be OK.

 

Will make a review after staying.

Just came back from the Amsterdam.

 

The hotel is very close to the Amsterdam central station.

 

It is a boutique hotel with a nice decoration.

 

According to the hotel website, it has various types of room, ranging from 1 - 5 star.

 

The room that I got was very small, hardly moved around with big luggage. I guess it would be the 1 or 2 star room.

 

Might not be the big saving but still a good price since the hotel in Amsterdam is very expensive.
