VV
Hello, I've never use bidding to get hotels. This is my first time. I'm looking for hotel in SFO union Square via Expedia and other websites, and it seems to be too expensive. I'm looking for 4* hotel and would be great if it can be under $150. Try so many times, and started at $95, use the method as follows: Bid $95, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $98, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone... Bid $103, if rejected close browser and use this link to re-access PRICELINE... and re-bidding again and again, even up to $ 180 still be rejected..... Since this will be my first time to SF, I am hoping to stay in Union square. Any suggestion ? Please help me, thank you very much. Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! San Francisco has continued to get more and more expensive over the last few years. At currently rates i think you're likely not far off from success at a 4* hotel and it will likely take in the $190-$210 range. If you let us know which zones (by PRICELINE name) you're willing to accept we will suggest a bidding strategy for you to follow (and confirm your maximum bid if you're willing to bid over your previously rejected $180/nite) If you're willing to drop to a 3.5* hotel PRICELINE EXPRESS has this 3.5 star Union Square West hotel (confirm your dates on the landing page) for $190/nite with: Indoor or Outdoor Pool, Pets Allowed, Restaurant, Free Internet, Business Center, Fitness Center... my guess for this one would be the Handlery Union Square Hotel, should this work for your needs. VV
Hi, Thanks for your precious advice. The 4* hotel has PRICELINE EXPRESS $209/nite, compare to 3.5* hotel PRICELINE EXPRESS $190/nite, they are same to me, So I think I might be drop to 3.5* hotel, and try to bid , therefore,I need your expert bidding strategy (my maximum bid is $ 160/nite) Thanks again.
