I have read the rebid process and believe I understand it.  It appears I can rebid this area a few times as the other zones to do not have 3.5*

 

If more leg work is needed push me in the right direction.

Note that PRICELINE's boundaries for this zone cover a much larger area than Plantation, I assume you're comfortable with a hotel anywhere within the designated zone boundaries?

If you posted the above in terms of your re-bid zones, that is not how to do it... the only technique that should be used to determine your re-bid zones is outlined here: Priceline Re-Bidding Explained. When bidding 3.5* in this region you have TWO re-bid zones... feel free to confirm them with the board, or if you're confused after reading the previous thread, just post back and we'll break it down further for you.

If the above was posted just in reference to current prices, the only one that would be relevant would be the Plantation On Crystal River... since you're looking to bid at the 3.5* level, the prices if the hotels under that star rating aren't a factor. As well, the 'bidding' side of PRICELINE and the 'retail' side of PRICELINE each use a different universe of hotels, there is a lot of overlap between the two, but we have seen hotels won on the bidding side that did not appear on the retail side, and vice-versa. For example, the Sheraton Suites Plantation is at least one additional possibility of a 3.5* hotel in the Planation zone, yet is not included i your list above.

Let's start by confirming that you're OK with a hotel anywhere within the zone that includes Plantation and that you can confirm your TWO re-bid zones at the 3.5* level... from there we'll suggest a bidding strategy for you to follow. I am ok with any 3.5* Upscale Plus within the Crystal River zone map.  

Yes than $75,  (as  I can free stay @ HH and IHG) 

 

It does not appear we are looking at the same area.  Confirming Crystal River, Fl (Gulf Coast west of Ocala)

The only 3.5* Upscale Plus is in zone map area of the Crystal River.

Homossasa Springs –  2* Mod

Ocala –  3* Plus
Ocala South –  2.5* Mod Plus
Silver Springs –  2.5* Mod Plus

By using the above locations I can rebid 5 times? As long as I add each other zone but do not check less than the 3.5* Upscale Plus.

Hello and thank you for the help.  I have read all the links prior to posting and have reread to confirm.  I only listed the Walk Scores to confirm that the "star*-rating" stays the same across "bidding, all hotels, and  express deals".  For example 2* Best Western Crystal River Resort is a 2* on all 3 priceline options and cannot show up as a 3 star or ??).  I understand it may an option in all 3 priceline options.

Yes, the star ratings at MAPS and HOTELS.com should be the same as those on the bidding side of PRICELINE (click thru on the hotel to confirm the star rating at PRICELINE)

Indeed we were looking at different zones, as i though you were referring to Plantation, FL.

Searching for Ocala, FL i do see the Cyrstal City zone you're referring to and you're correct, that there are FIVE re-bid zones at the 3.5* level.

Bid $60, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $65, if rejected add re-bid zone...
