Just bid and won on Price.line and paid just over $168 Canadian with taxes.   After winning, I went to the Novotel website and saw that as a free member with their 5% off, I would have paid only $164 with taxes booking directly with the hotel website myself.  Not a deal at all!

Sorry to hear that the result was a disappointment, but hopefully the hotel will work well for your travel plans.

Please start by reading your messages (which will also remove the red box at the top of the page and make the board easier to navigate)

Was $100 (CAD?? or USD??) your first bid in the zone at the 3.5 star level or did you have previous bids rejected?

Feel free to ask the board for help before your next bidding/opaque purchase and we will try to help you obtain a more 'true' deal.

Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.

Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases

The Bid was for $138 CAD...came to just over $168.00 with tax.   I have bid with Priceline for over 75 times in the past and this was the most disappointing deal I ever received.   The hotel should be ok.
