CPA262
Oh sorry, 12/30 - 1/1/16 at 98$ per night. Link to comment
thereuare
I'm not currently seeing any 3 star property in the Downtown for under $100 when searching HOTWIRE for your dates... are you still seeing the above on your own search? If so, are you searching HOTWIRE for more than one room or for something other than the default 2adults/0children? Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. CPA262
It looks like the price changed yesterday/inventory ran out. Thanks for looking. Link to comment
thereuare
Let us know if something else within your budget appears or how we can be of further help and what you ultimately decide to do for this stay. You can also check our our MAPS and HOTELS.com site to see if anything is offered there that can work for your needs... the interface makes it very easy to weight your options between cost/savings of staying near your ideal location vs. staying a little further away or going up/down in star rating. CPA262
Thanks I'll check that out. I am now leaning towards bidding PRICELINE in the Perimeter area for a deep discount or taking one of the PRICELINE EXPRESS deals at 74/75$ per night in the Perimeter area. Seems to be an abundance of inventory in that space. I'll update the forum as I figure it out. Link to comment
CPA262
It seems that if Priceline has a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal listed they are kind of tipping their hand, and there would be a good chance that a bid a little below that figure would be accepted for the same deal. Any data/trends you've seen support that? Link to comment
thereuare
Yes, you can use the PRICELINE EXPRESS deals as a maximum bid cap, but you won't necessarily get the same hotel by bidding that you are being offered thru PRICELINE EXPRESS deals. So if you think you have found a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal that works for your needs (location, amenities, good review rating, etc) then you have to decide if it's worth paying the few extra dollars thru PRICELINE EXPRESS to get what you want OR is it worth risk receiving a different hotel in the zone that may not be as well reviewed or be as convenient for your plans. If you do decide to bid and are familiar with the re-bid process, it would be appreciated if you helped us out in testing a new site.
