momtotwoboys Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 Please start a NEW TOPIC for your own stay since it is different than the dates above.Sorry, used to the Disboards where everyone just jumps in.Starting to look into hotels for stay in April. 1st trip to ATL. Was considering staying downtown since that's where our activities are planned, but now thinking Buckhead might be better for family travel. Anyway, 4.5* Buckhead >$200 Easter week, 4 maybe 5 nights. Price seems high compared to previous posts, but it is Easter week. Will post later with final outcome. Thank you.

momtotwoboys Posted January 24, 2006 Author Report Posted January 24, 2006 Can use all the help I can get. Dates right now are 4/20 arrive, 4/25 depart.Thank you.
thereuare Posted January 24, 2006 Report Posted January 24, 2006 I assume you are searching for one room for four people?Have you considered looking at two rooms (i don't know how old the other members of the family are and if two rooms is a possibility)? When searching for two rooms, there are 3* and 3.5* hotels which are both well under $100/nite? (which would even cost less than one 2.5* hotel room for four people)Is the above a possibility (given the age of your children)? momtotwoboys Posted January 25, 2006 Author Report Posted January 25, 2006 No, they're only 5 and 9. Too young to stay in their own room. And could you imagine their room service bill? :)
thereuare Posted January 25, 2006 Report Posted January 25, 2006 At least you wouldn't have to worry about steaks and shrimp... more likely multiple sundaes :) How about the Crowne Plaza Buckhead for $100/nite or the Wyndham Atlanta for $125/nite? momtotwoboys Posted January 28, 2006 Author Report Posted January 28, 2006 Sorry it's taken so long to respond. I've been away. Hhmm, The Wyndam MIDTOWN? I'm thinking Midtown would work best for us as rather than Downtown. Thanks again, Maggie
thereuare Posted January 28, 2006 Report Posted January 28, 2006 No, the Wyndham i've linked above is the Wyndham Atlanta... not the Wyndham Midtown. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
