Rbg2130 Posted November 30, 2015 Author Report Posted November 30, 2015 We are looking for a single room with quad occupancy. If that is not a possibility, we have family friends who have offered up their apartment, in which case we would be looking for a single room with double occupancy. Thanks
thereuare Posted December 1, 2015 Report Posted December 1, 2015 Please start by reading your messages (which will also remove the red box at the top of the page and make the board easier to navigate) To get started, a few basics: PRICELINE: only guarantees double occupancy, after that it's at the discretion of the hotel, and you could receive a room with only one bed. While you can contact the hotel you win and request a room with two beds, the hotel may not be able, or willing, to honor your request. PRICELINE EXPRESS: also only guarantees double occupancy but you can sometimes work around the situation if the hotel shows 'Bed Choice' and one of the choices given is a configuration that will accommodate your needs (ie- two beds) HOTWIRE: allows you to search for up to quad occupancy and ensures sleeping accommodations for everyone you include in your search (although this usually means two beds, the second 'bed' could be a sofabed, rollaway, etc) Based upon the above which option(s) seem feasible for your group? If you then search using our BiddingHelper.com, do you see anything of interest within your budget in any of the zone(s) that you're willing to accept? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
