RDU Raleigh --> FSD Sioux Falls Delta

It's not too often these days that bidding works for airfare, so I thought I'd mention that I managed to have success.  Bid on this Monday before Thanksgiving for a Thanksgiving trip from RDU to FSD (Raleigh, NC to Sioux Falls, SD).  Husband needed to go.  Airfares were in the $790 range due (of course) to the holiday and last minute.

 

Started at $250 and worked my way up in increments until a $380 bid was accepted.  With taxes and fees $433.35.  Pretty much what a normal airfare would be between these two cities without a holiday and last minute.  He does have a 6am flight on Sunday to deal with.  Airline Delta.  

 

Grateful for the deal or he wouldn't have been able to go.

Glad to see you were able to score a nice deal for this trip and your husband was able to spend time with family.

Can you please add a reply to this thread indicating the airline which accepted the bid as well as the departure date so we can edit the topic title accordingly.

Hi, I did mention it in my post...the airline is Delta.

Sorry-departure date was November 25, returning November 29.
