aw4381 Posted November 24, 2015 Report Posted November 24, 2015 Hi, Anyone know what fees are added to the rate won on PL? I have been getting these fees-parking, internet-at airport locations somewhat recently and it appears that they are trying to recoup costs etc
AaronJB Posted November 24, 2015 Report Posted November 24, 2015 PRICELINE and HOTWIRE are going to show when there is a resort fee possible. That will be charged at the hotel and is most commonly found in areas like Orlando, but it's something that's been seen a little more in other areas (NYC) lately. Any sort of optional charges (parking, internet, etc) are something that the hotel will charge discount or non-discount customers. Most hotels at airports - especially higher end properties but even some lower-end - are charging for parking these days. The Westin should list parking fees and internet fees on the hotel website (We offer 24-hour valet parking services for guests of the hotel. Due to the airport location, parking is limited and based upon availability. Overnight parking costs $24 per night for hotel guests or $35 for non-hotel guests) My suggestion would be to use HOTWIRE or PRICELINE EXPRESS and look for a listing with free parking and free internet. Please keep us updated and if we can be of further help, please let us know more about the stay (dates of travel, desired budget, is the Westin the only hotel of interest and any other information.) Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
thereuare Posted November 25, 2015 Report Posted November 25, 2015 ... i'll add that these fees are not specific to PRICELINE / HOTWIRE customers, but they are the same fees that any other guest would have to pay (the only difference being that those guests likely also paid more for their room as well ;) ) Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. toledo Posted February 2, 2017 Report Posted February 2, 2017 You can park at Qwik Park or Airlines Parking for $11/day ($9 with AAA card) and take their shuttle to the hotel.
thereuare Posted February 2, 2017 Report Posted February 2, 2017 Good info... thanks for passing it along! Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
