Hi,

I'm new to this forum as well as PRICE.LINE bidding and PRICELINE EXPRESS deals.

However, it was highly recommended by our friends, so we decided to give it a try for our forthcoming trip to London, UK.

After a really excessive research, I decided to post for help.

We got a PRICELINE EXPRESS DEAL for 4*Kensington - Earl's Court Area Hotel with the following amenities:

Restaurant

Indoor or Outdoor pool

Fitness centre

Bed choice available

Dates: 11/21 to 12/02

Rate per night 107$

Any guesses?

And one other question: if we book a double room, can we come with a 4-year old kid who sleeps with the parents (no extra bed needed)?

Thank you for your help.

Welcome to Betterbidding. :)

The Kensington Close Hotel would be a guess in this case.

A child also in the party would not likely be an issue.

Welcome to BetterBidding!

My guess for this one would be the Kensington Close Hotel And Spa.

Since this an extended stay you could see if this same property is offered for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the solo nite in order to 'look behind the curtain'. If you're happy with the results purchase the remaining nites, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay.

Regarding showing up with your 4 year old, all that PRICELINE guarantees is double occupancy, after that it is at the discretion of the hotel. If you were visiting a family friendly location (like Orlando, Disneyland, etc) i would think the risk would be somewhat low, but given that this is Europe (where rooms are known to be a bit smaller), and that this hotel's "standard" room is one double bed (or 2 singles) i think the risk goes up a bit (not to mention it not being very comfortable for a 10+ nite stay), but ultimately the decision as far as how much risk you're willing to accept is yours.

If this is more risk then you're willing to take you could go for a large bed option and/or find a hotel where one of the 'bed choices' is a room that would better accommodate the triple occupancy needs of your family, OR you can search HOTWIRE for 2adults/1child.

Let us know your thoughts and how you'd like to proceed (or how it goes of you take the offer above) and we'll take it from there.
