When I looked the Doubletree up online, it states they have a $19 resort fee, but nothing is mentioned on the Hotwire page about a resort fee. Is that common?

HOTWIRE is generally 'pretty good' about showing any additional resort fees, but there are still some properties where this information is still not shown.

Trying to figure out if you think the hotel below is the Extended Stay LBV or Holiday Inn Express Hotels and Suites LBV or something totally different.

 

2.5 * Lake Buena Vista - Disney Springs area hotel .....$67

85% recommended

Are you looking for something in particular in terms of hotel?

My guess is that this is the Extended Stay with a slightly different amenity set than what has been reported previously.

Thank you for your help.  Honestly just trying to get the best deal with easy access to both WDW and Universal Studios for a two night stay before going to stay onsite at Universal.

What is your budget and what is important to you for this part of your trip?

The two areas you're looking to visit are about 15 minutes apart from each other and there are probably 100+ hotels between the two, so what is it that you are looking for in a hotel for this two nite stay? (or... why not the guessed Extended Stay??)

I got the Extended Stay Orlando - Lake Buena Vista for $53/night using the Priceline link above. 

 

Amenities:  Free Breakfast

                  Free Internet (in room)

                  Free Parking

                  Pet Friendly

                  Pool

                  Non-smoking

                  Handicap Accessible

 

Bed Choice Available : 2 Queen Beds - Nonsmoking Deluxe Studio - Breakfast, Free Wifi

 

This may not be the most luxurious hotel in the area, but I believe it will suit our needs of a clean place to sleep for the first two nights of our vacation.
