Just got a one night stay at the Omni Tucson for $89.

I've been trying for a week or so to get a one-night getaway for our 9th wedding anniversary this coming Friday. I started bidding today at $70, and did my free re-bids at $75, $80, $85 and finally won at $89.

The lowest rate I could find on their website was $289, so I'm very happy with my win. This is peak tourism season so it's tough to get a good rate here.

I'm also an Omni Hotels Select Guest and have a Complimentary Room Upgrade certificate. I kind of doubt I can use it, but I'll try and see what happens.

You are in luck. I have stayed at the Omni in Tucson several times and they will accept the upgrade coupon. I used mine and they had no problem, even after I mentioned I got my room through Priceline (they see it in their system as well). The staff is very warm and accomodating and I was never treated as a second class citizen because I booked through Priceline. I would call to let them know you would like to use the coupon and they will notate the account for when you check in. It is based on availability so if they have no Casitas left you will be put in a regular room which is very nice anyways. Enjoy!
