The price was $186/night. 

 

When I go to bidding helper it says

What's your guess for a 4*, same dates, $306/night. Also Ft Myers Beach.

Unfortunately, this listing has not yet been ID'd/reported, but with a 4.5/5 tripadvisor rating, this property certainly gets excellent reviews so that's not a worry.

I'm thinking Pink Shells, since it's the only one on trip advisor I see with 2000+ reviews which hotwire mentions, but that has come up in the past as 3.5*, so I can't really tell. I would really like Pink Shell, so I am afraid to guess wrong :/

It's been 4+ years since the Pink Shell Resort and Marina has been reported to the board HERE, it certainly may have been upgraded since then.

Since this an extended stay you could see if this same property is offered for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the solo nite in order to 'look behind the curtain'. If you're happy with the results purchase the remaining nites, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay.
