tomtom667 Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 I have been watching the nightly rate for Las Vegas north strip 5* hotel for some days. My desired stay is around thanksgiving, which is still more than a month from now. But I notice the rate was $128, and then suddenly jumps to $135, and keep at that rate. Is it true that the express deal rate always keep going up when getting closer to the desired date? Or it can fluctuate over different days of the week? Any rule of thumb about the rate trend?
thereuare Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 Welcome to BetterBidding! Please start by reading your messages (which will also remove the red box at the top of the page and make the board easier to navigate) Hotel rates in Vegas fluctuate more than any other market in the United States (and possibly the world) and can go both up and down... it all depends on how actual new reservations/cancellations come in relative to expected new reservations/cancellations (aka- 'Supply vs. Demand') What are the actual dates of your stay OR are your dates flexible and/or not yet confirmed. What are the amenities associated with the PRICELINE EXPRESS offer you're seeing? Is there something in particular that you're looking for in a hotel this trip? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
