Saint Greg
You definitely want to add this one to your hotel list so people can do their research on it before booking. Hotwire has it as a 3* but it is really a 1*. I didn't stay here. After an hour on the phone with hotwire I got a refund. I spent $17 more and moved 10 miles north to a very nice 3* holiday inn in Garland which I will post next. thereuare
Thank you for sharing your previous win with the board and helping us add this property to the Hotwire Hotel List. Sorry to hear you feel the hotel was overrated (PRICELINE also rates this property 3 stars) but glad to see that you were able to sort it out with HOTWIRE to your satisfaction. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Saint Greg
They told me they use Expedia ratings...which are way off for this property. Link to comment
thereuare
HOTWIRE starts with Expedia ratings and then adjusts up/down based upon use feedback, as there are many instances where the HOTWIRE rating will differ from the Expedia rating. Hopefully this is one that will get a second look and be downgraded sometime in the near future (i would think likely given that they were willing to offer a refund).
