The hotel is located about 15 minutes from the strip and it was like two different worlds. Nice change to be somewhere that was not crowded. It was very relaxing and peaceful.

Checked in at 4 pm and was in my room in less than 5 minutes. I was given a king non-smoking on the first floor, spa tower. I first noticed the large bathroom...Wow! It was marble decorated with a jacuzzi tub. The shower had a showerhead almost the size of a dinner plate. It felt like being under a waterfall. There were two sinks and the toilet had its own little room with a phone. There was also a lighted makeup mirror similar to the one at Golden Nugget.

French doors opened to the patio which was just as big as the bathroom. There were 3 chairs, a table, and a lounge chair to stretch out and relax in the sun. I noticed that the first floor rooms all had patios, while some upper floors had balconies, small enough to stand outside and enjoy the garden view. I was hoping for a higher floor, but was happy to get the ground floor because of the patio.

There was a walk-in closet which had 2 robes, sewing kit, and housed the safe. Next to the closet was a refrigerator, kind of. It looked like a refrigerator but there was a note that said it was a only cooler and that milk will not keep fresh. A nice touch was the ice bucket that had thongs to handle the ice. The ice machines were located on floors 3 and up.

The bed was very comfortable and so were the pillows. I slept well and kept cool with the ceiling fan on, which also had a light that you could dim to your liking.

The hotel grounds were beautiful with fountains and waterfalls. There were several restaurants in the hotel and also a Starbucks. I opted to dine elsewhere near Rampart and Charleston Blvd, less than 5 minutes away. Many restaurants to choose from such as Cheesecake Factory, Claim Jumper, PF Changs, and Chili's.

If the strip is your thing than this hotel is not for you. If you are looking to get away from the busy strip, you will be pleasantly surprised as I was. I will definitely stay at this hotel for all my future Vegas trips.

This is a very nice resort hotel away from the Strip. Stayed at the Palms tower. The rooms are very spacious with double sink marble top vanities, jacuzzi tub and a standing shower. The king bed was very comfortable.

The resort grounds are very well landscaped, lush surroundings with cascading falls and very nicely lit at night. The pool was rather large and well-maintained. It is very quiet here compared to all the traffic and noise on the Strip.

The resort also has a casino, an Irish pub, buffet and other fine dining restaurants. Starbucks is also located on the resort.

This is a nice getaway resort that is quiet and very peaceful.
