thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding! Please start by reading your messages (which will also remove the red box at the top of the page and make the board easier to navigate) I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links. If you repeat your search using our BiddingHelper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities (including any accessible amenities) then what you have listed above? Using this method, below is the full list of amenities i'm seeing for the 3.5 star hotel in this zone when searching for your dates: Free Internet Indoor Pool Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet Blind Accessible Deaf Accessible Travel Accessible Room Accessible Bathroom Accessible Handicapped Parking Roll-in Shower ... if this is what you're seeing, the Holiday Inn Chicago Mart Plaza would be my best guess for this one. Not sure what you're looking for from this stay but other options around the same price point: (confirm your dates on the landing pages): 4* Mag Mile - River North for $122/nite with: Business Center Restaurant ... best guess here would be the Warwick Allerton Hotel Chicago 3.5* Mag Mile - River North Business Center Restaurant Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center ... the Holiday Inn Chicago Mart Plaza would be my guess for this one and would be a little cheaper then the HOTWIRE option above. Lastly, if your budget is flexible there is this 4.5* hotel for $146/nite and excellent reviews (9+ of 10 from previous PRICELINE guests) with: Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Fitness Center ... my guess would be the Gwen (which until recently was The Conrad Hilton) Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. AaronJB
The Holiday Inn Mart Plaza is a nice property, but it is a little out of the way in the SW corner of the zone. Still, not a terrible walk to the River North area's restaurants and nightlife. The Holiday Inn does have a bar area off to the side of the check in that has rather stunning views of the river. A number of rooms also have river views. If you could get the Gwen for not too much more, that's a nice upgrade in terms of the hotel itself and a terrific location right by the Michigan Ave bridge. I'd rather the potential Gwen than the Allerton for around $20-25 less. I'm very familiar with the area - let me know if you have any city questions.
