I believe there are more amenities then what you have posted above as HOTWIRE has a new interface that does not show the complete set of amenities unless you click thru a few extra links.

The Holiday Inn Mart Plaza is a nice property, but it is a little out of the way in the SW corner of the zone. Still, not a terrible walk to the River North area's restaurants and nightlife. The Holiday Inn does have a bar area off to the side of the check in that has rather stunning views of the river. A number of rooms also have river views.

 

If you could get the Gwen for not too much more, that's a nice upgrade in terms of the hotel itself and a terrific location right by the Michigan Ave bridge. I'd rather the potential Gwen than the Allerton for around $20-25 less.
