amitsingh08 Posted September 24, 2015 Report Posted September 24, 2015 Singapore hotels 10/12, 4 nights, showed a PRICELINE EXPRESS Deals in Downtown area - 5* for $277/night There were numerous regular purchase options for lesser $, but not great ratings I tried Name Your Own Price, starting $150 bid, increasing $10 with added regions, and they finally accepted $180 for Grand Park City Hall Hotel (average rating). Purchase sealed. Here's the cheat - they're selling same hotel for $159 in normal purchase mode. I wasnt sold a better room-type Bottomline: Lookup for good deals, which often available, before attempting Price.line, where Name Your Own Price can cost more than their publicly listed prices.
thereuare Posted September 24, 2015 Report Posted September 24, 2015 Welcome to BetterBidding! Please start by reading your messages (which will also remove the red box from the top of the page and make the board easier to navigate) PRICELINE does have a Best Rate Guarantee... have you tried to submit a claim? Our BiddingHelper.com tool was designed so that you could compare PRICELINE, HOTWIRE, and regular retail rates before submitting your bid... our MAPS and HOTELS.com is useful for this purpose as well. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
