Actually, this Radisson is in a former train station that was converted into a hotel, and it is architecturally very cool inside.

Across the street from this hotel is an Irish pub that has different drink specials every day of the week, and a short walk from the hotel is this restaurant that my wife and i enjoyed a lot when we were in the area during the summer:

... it's BYOB, easy to find carry-out beer in Scranton, but we found it nearly impossible to find wine, so plan accordingly.

I stayed here and while the exterior and lobby of the building is old and beautiful, the room is TERRIBLE and very shabby. Old, dusty, holes in the bedding, TV didn't work. This place needs updated!!
