I'm far from certain, but perhaps an upgrade and new amenity set for the Sohotel?

Since this an extended stay you could see if this same property is offered for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the solo nite in order to 'look behind the curtain'. If you're happy with the results purchase the remaining nites, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay.

I'm very familiar with NYC, what is your maximum budget per nite for this stay?

This is a few weeks into the start of high season for NYC and i don't think you'll find very much at $120 or less for these dates.

I would either take the above, OR if you would be more comfortable with more information, as per above see if this same hotel is available for the first/last nite of your stay and then for the balance. This will give you a chance to only risk one nite before confirming that you will be pleased with the results for the entire trip.

I will add that this property also shows a 3.5/5.0 TA rating, so at the every least, it should be a 'decent' property and provide the basic needs you'll looking for.

As i don't think you're going to find much else within your budget i'm not sure what you're hoping to happen by waiting, but if that's the route you're going take, i would suggest using RefundableRates.com to find a suitable back-up to protect yourself from rates rising from there... should you ultimately see something of interest down the road thru PRICELINE EXPRESS or HOTWIRE you can simply take it and cancel your back-up reservation.
