rsoares Posted September 1, 2015 Report Posted September 1, 2015 Could you please help to identify the below hotel? The dates are: 05/30/16 - 06/05/16 5-Star LuxuryIndoor/Outdoor PoolPets AllowedRestaurantFitness CenterFree InternetBusiness Center9+ Many thanks!
AaronJB Posted September 2, 2015 Report Posted September 2, 2015 Welcome to Betterbidding. :) I'm not seeing a 5* in this zone when searching for these dates. Are you still seeing it when searching? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.
thereuare Posted September 2, 2015 Report Posted September 2, 2015 Please start by reading your messages (which will also remove the red box at the top of the page and make the board easier to navigate) I assume you mean the South Beach - Collins Avenue Oceanfront zone? If so, I'm not seeing a 5* hotel in this zone either when searching for your dates... if you're still seeing this offered, what is the room rate per nite? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
rsoares Posted September 2, 2015 Author Report Posted September 2, 2015 Hi, I used the PRICELINE link and then navigated towards the NYOP bidding page. The median retail price in this area is $374... I'm thinking to put $100.. Is it possible to win? Thanks
thereuare Posted September 2, 2015 Report Posted September 2, 2015 The amenities shown on the bidding side of PRICELINE are amenities that are offered at every hotel in the zone at that star rating... not the amenities of a specific property that you would be bidding on. Also, the 'median price' shown by PRICELINE is not meaningful (as there many instances where the calculation has been shown to be flawed), but with this noted, if the average price of 5* hotels in the area is nearly $400, then something near the $100 area is not realistic... what is your maximum budget for a 5* hotel in this area? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
