MJRBIM Posted January 18, 2006 Author Report Share Posted January 18, 2006 Depending on the anticipated outcome of next week's Canadian election there could be a huge influx of new political staffers for the Conservatives transition team (thousands of new people moving to Ottawa)...I expect that places like the Courtyard and Les Suites have lots of cancelable reservations currently filling their books until the votes are counted. The Conservatives want to cut down on Gov't spending - so I see them filling the gov't rate 2.5* hotels rather than the 3* properties...which will be good for me if it gets me some PL bumps.
