soybang Posted August 23, 2015 Report Posted August 23, 2015 Trying to book hotel in Vancouver BC in downtown areaDates: 9/9/15 - 9/12/15Currently, price is showing as $116/nt (save 50% or more) on priceline express deal Amenities: Swimming Pool, Pets Allowed, RestaurantGuest Ratings: 8+ Very Good Looking through regular priceline hotel list I was guessing it would be Coast coal harbor hotel, as it is the only 3.5* in downtown area and amenities match.I got confused because when looking at the map it looks like this hotel should be under 'Downtown - Coal Harbor, Stanley Park, Convention Center Area Hotel' not 'Downtown - Entertainment, Shopping District Area' - as it is currently listed?
thereuare Posted August 23, 2015 Report Posted August 23, 2015 Best guess for this PRICELINE EXPRESS 3.5* Downtown - Entertainment, Shopping District hotel would be the Century Plaza Hotel and Spa. The hotel that you're looking at in the Downtown-Entertainment zone is the 3* Coast Plaza Suites, which is a different property then the 3.5* Coast Harbour hotel which is located in the Coal Harbour zone, but not yet been reported to the board thru PRICELINE (but has thru HOTWIRE) Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. soybang Posted August 24, 2015 Author Report Posted August 24, 2015 I decided to try NYOP before booking this 3.5* on Priceline Express.Got Century Plaza Hotel & Spa on NYOP for $105/nt. I will post separately. This hotel is going for $129/nt on Priceline (mobile exclusive price).
soybang Posted August 24, 2015 Author Report Posted August 24, 2015 Tried 4* up to $120 with no success. There's several free re-bidding zones available but didn't want to go too high because I knew there is 3.5* available on PRICELINE EXPRESS for $116/nt. Started bidding on PRICELINE for 3.5* at $80 and ended up getting it at $105/nt. Total for 3 nights: $382
thereuare Posted August 24, 2015 Report Posted August 24, 2015 Congratulations on your success! Hope you're pleased with the results and this property will work well for your needs this trip.
