I was really hoping to get Le Meridian Arlington so I started with the [url=http://www.betterbidding.com/clicks/click.php?afsrc=1&id=40]PRICELINE[/url] link and followed this thread exactly and did the following:

 

Started at $40/night for a 3.5* in Arlington, VA - rejected
Added Dupont Circle and $45/night - rejected
Added Crystal City for $50/night - rejected
Added Downtown - Whitehouse for $55/night - accepted

 

$198 all in for 3 nights

Sorry to hear that you didn't get what you were hoping for, but when you bid you have to be willing to accept any property at the star rating picked, as results are based more upon hotel availability for your dates then the method/order of how you placed your bids. Hope the hotel will exceed expectations.
