thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding!Unfortunatley this prpoerty has not yet been identified, but the concensus is that an unknown 3* hotel on Hotwire can be a riskly propopsition.I would sooner stick with a higher star rated hotel if it is within your budget... there is a similarly priced (about $20 more per nite) 4* hotel in this zone, is that still within your budget? PaulS
Looking for somewhere not overlooking a freeway or stadium as per 3 star hotels in shelter island zone (holiday inn express) or mission valley (holiday inn select hotel circle). yet within striking distance of seaworld and san diego zoo. (picturesque setting). Will have a car for a 10 mile trip say. What is the 4 star property you mention do you expect?Do you have any other suggestions? Link to comment
thereuare
My best guess is that the 4* (at least the one i'm seeing) on Hotiwre is the Hyatt Regency La Jolla. If correct, would that work for your needs? bbbb
Theres a lot of free street parking around the Hyatt La Jolla. I have never had to pay to park there. It is a very nice hotel and only about 15 mins to Sea World. Link to comment

thereuare
The Hotwire reservation will guarantee sleeping accomodations for each person included in your search. This usually means two beds in the room, but in rare cirumstances a rollaway bed can be supplied (there should be no extra charge if necessary to fufill the hotel's obligation of supplying sleeping accomdoations for each person in your search) or a pull-out couch can count as 'bedding' as well. thereuare
This implies a better room.I don't think you can draw this conclusion... the hotel may just charge extra for more than double occupancy.
