Stormriderbr Posted August 7, 2015 Report Posted August 7, 2015 Hello, I'm looking for a 4-Star in New York City (Central Park South, TS, Upper East Side or Upper West Side), from Nov 26th to Dec 2nd. I'd like to know what kind of bids I should bid for each zone. My budget is $150 per night (all-in), but I'd love something cheaper. One more thing, since my trip is still three months from now, should I wait to bid closer to the date? I appreciate the help, folks. Thanks.
yellowdog Posted August 7, 2015 Report Posted August 7, 2015 Welcome to BetterBidding! I'm sorry to say that I don't think your budget will be enough for a 4* when looking at current rates. I think you're looking at $180-$200 + tax/fee's if you aim for a 4* property. Can you increase your budget or would you prefer to lower the star rating? I don't think you should wait with your booking. This is a busy time for NYC with Christmas around the corner. If I should speculate would I say that the rates will go up closer to your dates. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know your thoughts and we'll go from there. Yellowdog.
