thereuare Posted August 6, 2015 Report Posted August 6, 2015 Welcome to BetterBidding! Please start by reading your messages (which will also remove the red box at the top of the page and make the board easier to navigate) To get started, what is your maximum budget (per nite before taxes/fees)? To confirm, what exactly are you looking for in a 'Spa'... a hot tub OR something where you could get a massage? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. abouskila Posted August 6, 2015 Author Report Posted August 6, 2015 thanks for getting back to me so soon my max budget before taxes and fees is 250 and for spa i am referring to something that i can get a massage or facial hot tub is not necessary thanks
thereuare Posted August 6, 2015 Report Posted August 6, 2015 A pool in NYC is rare, so i would exclude that from your criteria. Some hotels offer spa services, some do not, but if the hotel you're staying in does not, i can almost guarantee that you can find someplace within a 5 minute cab ride (or quite possibly a 5 minute walk) where you can get whatever body treatments you'd like (and it will almost certainly be cheaper then if purchased at a hotel). With the above noted, i am seeing what appears to be the following on HOTWIRE: Westin New York at Times Square for $128/nite Warwick for $133/nite on PRICELINE EXPRESS i'm also seeing the Sofitel New York for $208/nite (but not sure if it's worth the extra money vs. the two above) Do any of the above work for your needs? (or is an in-house spa a mandatory?) abouskila Posted August 7, 2015 Author Report Posted August 7, 2015 I think the Sofitel might work Any chance i can get a better deal if i bid on PRICELINE?(vs the PRICELINE EXPRESS rate?)
thereuare Posted August 7, 2015 Report Posted August 7, 2015 Bidding on PRICELINE usually gives a slightly lower price, but you won't be able to target or guess the hotel you may receive and would need to be willing to accept any hotel in the zone at the star rating (or higher) that you bid.
