I'm new here and I need two rooms on 9/4 for 2 nights.

 

I see a 4.5* hotel for $144 with the following amenities.

 

Boutique hotel, Indoor pool(s), Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Tennis nearby, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Roll-in shower - I see most people think this is probably the Burnham.

 

I also see a 4* at $159 with these amenities - Maybe not inside the Loop? Hilton/Blackstone/Hyatt?

 

FULL AMENITIES: Pet friendly, Indoor pool(s), Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower. I have no clue.

 

This is a 3* for $119: I think it's the Essex.

I got the Swissotel, precisely the one hotel I didn't want, but everything else was $100/night more, so I took the risk. It's not terribly well liked on Trip Advisor among the non-solicited reviews, but it's only 2 nights. The one thing you should beware is that it does call itself a "boutique hotel" in the amenities. I owuldn't consider something this big to be boutique.
