Welcome to Betterbidding. :)

If you click on the listing, then click "book now", then click "see all amenities", do you see:

Boutique, Restaurant, Fitness, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Spa, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Handicapped Parking, Roll-in Shower, Pet Friendly

-- If so, this is likely the James.

Great price, great location. With pretty much everything else North of the river higher priced, if you're interested in this deal I'd consider taking it.

I think you made an excellent choice - good deal and the location is terrific. I'd highly recommend Eataly (http://www.eataly.com/us_en/stores/chicago/), which is a block or so South. I'm very familiar with Chicago - let me know if you have any city questions at all, I'd be happy to help.

Thanks Aaron. I will check that out.

Are you familiar with Smart Destinations pass cards?

I am thinking about getting 2 day passes for the family.

Looks like a good deal.

In terms of pass programs, I think it really comes down to looking at all of the attractions offered and seeing how many of them you are interested in and whether or not the amount is enough to justify the pass price.

I mean, I'm looking at the Smart Destinations pass website and it includes Brookfield Zoo and the Museum of Science and Industry. Both of those things are enough of a trek outside downtown (especially Brookfield, which is out in the suburbs) that they would be their own trip. The Adler Planetarium I think is just okay and Navy Pier I'd not recommend.

Lincoln Park Zoo, Field Museum, Shedd (although I'd say only to go to Shedd early in the AM, I don't think it's as enjoyable when it's crowded), Art Institute and a lake or river tour are well worth it.

Let me know if you have any questions at all.

Enjoy your stay.
