Got Holiday Inn but seems Hotels..com has lower price than this one...anyway thats ok...

If so, can you please add a reply to this thread with the amenities HOTWIRE shows for this property when viewing your purchase history using the MY ACCOUNT link on the top right of their home page.

If Hotels.com has a lower room rate per nite before fees/taxes (when searching 2adults/1child, as that is what you booked above) then you should contact HOTWIRE to take advantage of their Best Rate Guarantee.

yes, It was Hotwire purchase.

 

Buffalo Intl Airport BUF - 3* for $106 with following Amenities

I called Hotwire but I hold it up to 30 mins (2 times) and then hang up..Poorest customer service I have seen so far...

When HOTWIRE has an excessive hold time they usually give you the option to have them call you back.

Also, their best rate guarantee applies to room rate only, so make sure that is the basis you are making the comparison, and that you're including 2adults/1child in your Hotels.com search, as i am seeing the room rate there at $112/nite, which would not be less than the room rate you had booked for thru HOTWIRE.

Thanks. Yes, they called back 2 times but they told its sales line and they again need to transfer me to customer service. They have done that and I waited for 25 mins and then hang up...

 

As far as rate is concerned,

If you book through booking.com, total amount is coming as $238

If you book through Hotels..com, total amount is coming as $253

 

 

Through Hotwire, total amount is $263

 

and yes, I searched for 2 adults and 1 kid..even my friend has booked through Hotels.com and paid $253 for 2 adults, 1 kid and same dates.

You can certainly try to plead your case to HOTWIRE, but i don't believe your claim will be accepted as you're using the after tax rate, while the terms of the best rate guarantee (as they are will almost all companies) is that it is based upon the room rate only (ie- before taxes/fees).

In the future you can use our BiddingHelper.com which would enable you to look at the HOTWIRE rates and then compare them to Hotels.com (using the 'Hotels By Name' tab) to determine just how good of a deal you are getting before your purchase.
