The only 4 star listed is THE LINE, and it seems to have a slightly different set of amenities.

Do you think this is what it is?

Do you have any suggestions re: buying now vs waiting (with a cancelable reservation, although finding one that isn't super expensive isn't easy!)

You're less than two weeks out from the date/s of travel. Hotels likely are pretty well aware of their expected traffic for your dates. I'd concentrate on locking something in.

 

My guess for the Hot.wire listing would be the Line. When I click on this listing, the price drops to $131 (you may see a slightly different price.)

Your call was perfect-- it was the Line, and even better, it had dropped even further to $128/night, which was way under anything that close in to downtown in that star rating.
