Priceline fail. Pretty disappointed by this one. Somehow missed that this hotel was in the mix when I bid. Sounds pretty bad - old, dark, dated, no wifi, etc. I wish I had done the PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal and gone to Hell's Kitchen for a hotel (likely Holiday Inn Express) with free breakfast and wifi.

While i'm not a big fan of this property, the location is indeed much better than the Holiday Inn Express in the Hell's Kitchen zone.

If you're looking for a cheap meal while in town, you're also near the corner from the famous NYC Chicken and Rice Food Cart if you're want to try some of the local 'street meat'. You want the cart that is there late nite (7:30pm-4am) on the SW corner of 53rd St and Sixth Ave... a nice dose of white sauce and use the hot sauce very sparingly as it's EXTREMELY HOT. Best $6 dinner you'll find in the city, and even if you're not interested in trying it, it's worth the walk over to check out the 'scene' as there is almost always a long line surrounding the cart.
