Hotwire Hotel: 4.5* San antonio Riverwalk Boutique

I'm looking to book a hotel for next weekend in San Antonio on the riverwalk for my mom and aunt. I need a room with two doubles but I cannot tell what type of room I will receive.

 

This was my search: 1 room, 2 adults, no kids July 18-20th

 

My first choice is:

4.5* San Antonio Riverwalk area boutique hotel

Amenities include: Boutique hotel, Free internet, restaurant, Business center, pet friendly, smoke free rooms, fitness center and pools. Price is currently $183/night with a 95% recommended. Hotwire also notes that the last person who booked received Hotel Contessa Luxury Suites on the Riverwalk.

 

 

My second choice:

4.5* Riverwalk area hotel

amenities include: business center, golf nearby, restaurants, fitness center, pet friendly, tennis nearby, free internet, pools.

Price is currently $169/night with a 95% recommended

I need a room with two doubles...

Hot.wire does not guarantee bed type, but there may be a few workarounds if either of the following work for your needs...

If you need (vs. want) two beds in the room you have two options:

1) search HOTWIRE for 2adults/1child as HOTWIRE ensures occupancy for everyone that you include in your search. This will ensure separate sleeping accommodations for the two guests you have in the room, but the second 'bed' could be a rollaway brought into the room, a pullout sofabed, etc.

2) search PRICELINE EXPRESS and choose an offer that shows the 'Bed Choice' option... then look at these offers and see if any of the bed choices shown have a room that offers two beds (or one bed and a sofabed if that would work for your needs)

... or you could take the risk and book for double occupancy, call the hotel after you win and request a room with two beds. However, the hotel may not be able, or willing, to accommodate your request... or there could be an additional fee for a room with two beds (if available)
