I'm guessing it is the Club Quarters Chicago. Does that seem right? I'm having a hard time pulling the trigger since I was looking a few weeks ago and saw the Chicago Athletic Association in the $120s, but couldn't book because my dates weren't confirmed yet. So by comparison, Club Quarters just looks... ok. Feel free to tell me I'm being ridiculous!

I'm trying to keep it around $120-130, but was hoping for something a little more plush that the Club Quarters. The photos on tripadvisor seem a bit run down, with tiny rooms, and I'm actually surprised it's 4* on Hotwire. I can get a corporate rate of $160 at the Silversmith, so that has been my barometer.

 

I'm ok with anything within a 10-15 minute walk of Michigan/Monroe, so I've been looking in the Theatre/Loop area as well.

How about the InterContinental Chicago for $166/nite or the Hotel Chicago Downtown, Autograph Collection for $145/nite... any interest in either of these (vs. your back-up hotel)?

The Chicago would be a great option - easy walk to River North restaurants and solid, central location in the city as a whole.

 

I'm seeing a 4* in the Mag Mile-RN area for $145 w/Boutique, Restaurant, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Blind Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Handicapped Parking, Roll-in Shower.
