thereuare Posted June 23, 2015 Report Posted June 23, 2015 Actually would like to hear your recommendation...To get started, do you have reason to stay in this specific zone OR are you looking to use this as a less expensive option to staying in Manhattan... as this is typically not the most convenient location for commuting to/from Manhattan and there may be other options if that is your intention. Gerson Posted June 23, 2015 Author Report Posted June 23, 2015 Thanks for fast reply!Actually first reason is to find a less expensive room don't want to pay 200usd per night, we´ve stayed in Secaucus area before, and enjoyed that off-Manhathan concept. This time we will be arriving-leaving from JFK so does not make sense staying in NJ.It will be a total of 3 days, but we will be going to Manhathan just 1 maybe 2 days.We will rent a 6p van, so the off-Manhathan is also better for that.Thought Flushing because my parents prefer asian food than western.. :D :D , but of course could stay in another place, I also liked Long Island City, but did not find any bargain there. Well, after sharing my thoughts the last is that I am also afraid of staying in those hotels beside LGA, such as La Guardia Plaza, etc.. bit older and location wise not convenient as you mentioned.
thereuare Posted June 23, 2015 Report Posted June 23, 2015 For the 3.5* property my guess is that the LaGuardia Plaza Hotel has been upgraded to the 3.5* level since it was last reported to the board... for the 3* my guess would be the Hampton Inn New York Laguardia Airport.
